1. Purpose of this policy
The Endlessness is built for creative, narrative, role-playing use by adults. That includes dark themes, violence appropriate to the fantasy genre, morally complex characters and difficult choices. What follows is about content and conduct that crosses the line into harm, not about protecting anyone from imagined dragons.
2. General principle
Do not use the Service to do anything that is illegal, that harms other people, that harms our infrastructure, or that undermines other users' trust in the Service. Where a specific rule below does not clearly cover an act, apply the general principle.
3. Prohibited content
You must not create, upload, share or store content on the Service that:
- is child sexual abuse material, sexualises minors, or uses characters that a reasonable person would read as minors in sexual contexts;
- provides concrete, step-by-step instructions for creating weapons capable of mass casualties (including chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or cyber weapons), for synthesising controlled substances, or for bypassing safety- critical systems in the real world;
- incites violence, terrorism, or hatred against a person or group on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or other protected characteristic, in breach of Portuguese Law no. 93/2017 or equivalent national laws;
- depicts non-consensual sexual acts presented approvingly, contains sexual content involving real identifiable people who have not consented, or contains intimate images of another person shared without consent (often called "revenge porn");
- infringes any intellectual property right, including copying copyrighted text, images or game content without permission, or impersonating another creator's protected work;
- defames a real person, falsely accuses them of a crime, or exposes their private data in a way that breaches the GDPR;
- contains malware, phishing links, fake login pages or any other code or content designed to harm or defraud users;
- otherwise breaks the law that applies to you or to us.
4. Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- harass, threaten, stalk, bully or dox other users, support staff or third parties;
- create or use multiple accounts to evade a ban, a rate limit, a Subscription limit, a trial limit or any other enforcement action;
- buy, sell, rent, share or transfer accounts or account access;
- use the Service to operate a commercial reseller, a paid AI-DM- as-a-service product, or any service that uses our output as the basis of a competing product, without our prior written agreement;
- engage in fraudulent conduct, including using stolen payment methods or making purchases with the intention of reversing them by chargeback;
- misrepresent your identity or impersonate a real person or organisation.
5. AI-specific misuse
Because The Endlessness is built around a generative AI Dungeon Master, the following uses are specifically off-limits:
- trying to extract system prompts, safety instructions, model identifiers, hidden weights or proprietary configuration;
- engineering prompts designed to produce the content listed in section 3, including through framing, obfuscation, or claimed role-play exceptions;
- submitting personal data of other people, confidential business data, trade secrets, or regulated data (for example, patient records or government-issued identification numbers) as part of a prompt;
- using the Service to generate content that impersonates a real living person in a way that could mislead others;
- building, training or fine-tuning a competing AI model on AI Output from the Service, on the Service's user interface, or on its proprietary data;
- using AI Output to take real-world actions that require professional advice (medical, legal, financial, psychological or safety-critical) without independent verification.
6. Real-world safety carve-outs
The Endlessness is a role-playing tool and not a crisis service. If you are in distress or facing a risk to life, please contact your national emergency services. In Portugal the general emergency number is 112 and the Linha SOS Voz Amiga runs a confidential helpline at 213 544 545. Similar services exist in every EU country.
We may route obvious distress signals to a safe response rather than continue a narrative, and we may suspend a session where we judge that continuing could contribute to real harm. This is not medical advice.
7. Security and anti-abuse
You must not:
- probe, scan or test the Service's vulnerability, or breach authentication or security measures, without our prior written authorisation;
- interfere with the Service, degrade its performance, or launch a denial-of-service attack, whether directly or using third-party tools;
- introduce viruses, worms, trojans, corrupted data or other malicious code;
- access parts of the Service, related systems or networks that you are not authorised to access.
We run a coordinated security disclosure programme. If you find a vulnerability, report it to info@theendlessness.com with enough detail to reproduce it, and give us a reasonable time to fix it before any public disclosure.
8. Automated access and scraping
You may not use bots, scripts or any automated means to access the Service, except through any API we publicly provide and only within its documented limits. You may not scrape, crawl or systematically harvest content from the Service, including the landing site, the blog and any public pages, for the purpose of training a machine learning system or creating a derivative data set. This restriction is made under Article 4(3) of Directive (EU) 2019/790, which allows rights-holders to reserve use for text and data mining by machine-readable means, and applies to all commercial and research actors that are not otherwise entitled to a scientific research exception.
9. Reporting violations
If you see content or conduct that breaks this policy, tell us at info@theendlessness.com. Include a link or identifier, a short description of the issue, and your contact details. You can also use the in-product reporting tools, where available. We treat reports confidentially and we do not retaliate against users who report in good faith.
10. Enforcement and consequences
Where we believe this policy has been broken, we may, depending on the seriousness and pattern of behaviour:
- warn the user,
- remove or restrict access to specific content,
- limit specific features (for example, the ability to generate new AI Output),
- suspend the account for a fixed period,
- close the account permanently and refuse future service,
- refer the matter to law enforcement or to a competent regulator when required by law.
For conduct that puts other users or the public at immediate risk, we may act without prior warning. Severe breaches may also result in forfeiture of remaining Subscription time, to the extent allowed by law.
11. Appeals
If you disagree with an enforcement decision, you can ask us to review it by writing to info@theendlessness.com within 30 days of the decision. A different person on our side will review the case, taking any new information you provide into account, and will answer within 14 business days. This internal appeal does not affect your right to use the out-of-court dispute resolution mechanisms listed in the Legal Notice.
